Meet Rich Hollenberg

A respected industry veteran of 30 years, Rich has covered a lot of ground in sportscasting. He's been a PxP announcer in one way, shape, or form dating back to his high school days, but he's spent the past 15+ years calling games for ESPN. Rich has called everything from power boat racing and gymnastics to MLB and NBA games. He's won 3 Emmys along the way, and recently decided now is the time to pay it forward to the next generation of sportscasters who share the same enthusiasm about the profession that he still does. Rich had a world-class education at Syracuse, and he's had inspirational mentors along the way, but he never had a course like this to lay the groundwork for success in this particular discipline. It’s the main reason he started the "Break In & Break Through" cohort, which has helped hundreds of sportscasters over the past few years. It’s the same reason he curated this coursework specifically for play-by-play announcers.
